Data Protection Officer

Mr. Martin Bitomsky (m.bitomsky@hypower.at) is appointed as the data protection officer.

General

Protecting the security of your personal data is important to us. This website stores and processes data exclusively in accordance with the Austrian and European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By using this site, you consent to the processing of data as described here. You can find the current version of the GDPR at http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/HTML/?uri=CELEX:32016R0679&from=EN.

This privacy policy applies only to this website. If you are redirected to other sites via links on our pages, please consult the respective site for information on how your data is handled. Your personal data (e.g., salutation, name, address, email address, telephone number, bank details, credit card number) is processed solely in accordance with Austrian data protection law. The following provisions inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection, processing and use of personal data.

The use of this website is generally possible without providing personal data. Where personal data (such as name, address or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is, as far as possible, always on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

We point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email or via unencrypted websites) may have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data from access by third parties is not possible.

When placing orders via our website, the data you submit or enter may be checked manually or automatically against our existing data for validity and timeliness and, if necessary, reconciled to correct the data stored with us. Our staff may need to contact you by email or phone. The data you enter is used exclusively for processing the order or handling the registration; there is no transfer of the data to third parties.

Rights of data subjects

Under the EU GDPR you, as a data subject, have extensive rights. These rights are intended to provide more transparency regarding your data. Your rights include the right of access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing (direct marketing), data portability (only with a contractual relationship or consent), and the right to withdraw consent at any time.

You can exercise all rights by emailing office@hypower.at, by contacting us personally (e.g. by phone or on site), or by sending a notice by post or fax.

In addition, you have the right at any time to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority regarding the processing of your personal data. Contact details:

Data deletion

Your data will be deleted as soon as the respective contract with you has been fulfilled and there is no legal obligation to retain the data. As a rule, your data is deleted after seven years (retention period pursuant to § 132 BAO).

Statutory/legal retention obligations or contractual obligations (e.g., warranty or damages, or obligations towards contractual partners) provide a legal basis to continue storing personal data (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR – legal obligation).

Links

We carefully review links that leave our website. Nevertheless, we assume no responsibility or liability for content on pages that are linked from this website or from another online presence.

Inventory data

Without your express consent or a legal basis, your personal data will not be passed on to third parties outside of contract processing. After the contract has been fully processed, your data will be blocked for further use. After the statutory tax and commercial retention periods have expired, this data will be deleted unless you have expressly consented to further use.

Your personal data, insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, content design or amendment of the contractual relationship (inventory data), will be used exclusively for contract processing. For example, for the delivery of goods, your name and address must be passed on to the supplier.

Credit check

If we provide services in advance, e.g. in the case of purchase on account, we may obtain a credit report about you. For this purpose, we will forward your personal data (e.g., name and address) to the relevant company. On the basis of mathematical‑statistical procedures, the risk of non‑payment is assessed. We may make the conclusion of the purchase contract dependent on the result of the credit check.

You can configure your browser to inform you when cookies are set and to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

SSL encryption

For reasons of security and to protect the transmission of confidential content (for example, requests you send to us as the site operator), this site uses SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
